Larry Patton is a Texas born Country -Blues-Rocker that has been playing music just about all of his life. Born in Beeville, Texas just 30 miles south of San Antonio, he has performed around the world from The Grand Ole' Opry in Nashville,Tennessee to Carnegie Hall in New York City. Bass player and lead singer for the legendary Flying Burrito Brothers for 13 years. Toured many foreign countries with many different acts. Recorded duets with Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Louvin, Delbert McClinton, Jonell Mosser, Johnny Bush, and the Oak Ridge Boys.

He has worked with many artists in the last 39 years including Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Darrell McCall, Bobby Bare (who calls him the greatest honky tonk singer in the world), Ronnie Milsap, Hank Williams Jr. Barbara Fairchild, Sammi Smith, Mel Street, Flying Burrito Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, Buckboard Boogie Boys, Delbert McClinton and the Oaks....... He has had songs recorded by Carl Perkins, Flying Burrito Brothers, Johnny Bush, Willie Nelson, Darrell McCall, Buckboard Boogie Boys, George Chambers, Sonny and the Sunglows, the Dusters...........(Inducted into the Australian Gold Coast Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Jan. 2000), He has had several group projects released like 3 Cds with Flying Burrito Brothers (Grateful Dead Records), 3 Cds with Buckboard Boogie Boys, 4 Solo Cds including "Mission City Playboy" 13 Willie Nelson songs done Texas honky tonk style with guests like Ricky Skagg, Johnny Bush, Delbert McClinton, Jo-el Sonnier, John Beland and more.
